Hi there, welcome back to the 3rd part of this journey towards the release of Warcrow. If you haven’t seen or read previous parts yet, be sure to read them first. This way, you will have a better understanding of what we talk about here!

So, on to the last 3 of the 6 races that enrich the Warcrow lands. We explored Embersig, The Feudom and the Elves, not it’s on to the rough part of Warcrow!

Orcs and Varank, The Orcs

First we start of with the Northern Tribes of the Orcs and Varank. Two distinct races that live in forced harmony, because they need each other in dire times. For centuries, the orcs called the icy boreal lands their home. They have become skilled hunters and apex predators, who start training from a young age of 10. Then known as cubs, they start the hunt with bow and arrow, then moving on to javelins and spears. When grown up, they wield large hand weapons to show their prowess.

a violent race, but Orcs aren’t vicious or cruel. They value honor and seeking glory displays strength and cunning. Through this, they establish and assert their position in their culture.

Orcs also have Evokers, summoners of great rock trolls or even tapping into their own lives to channel power in battle. By the Orcs side, you will find companions in the form of Wargs. Great wolves that love to hunt as much as the Orcs. Counted as allies, they are very much part of the pack.

The Varank

The Varank are the equal to Orcs in many ways. They arrived in waves as the Elven kingdom of Gae Assail collapsed. Varank have been living alongside the Orcs ever since.

Led by a supreme, regional leader called a Jarl, the Varank are a powerful and aggressive people. They organize in small groups of light infantry, attacking on ships to strike deep into enemy territory.

The Varank live in family houses, with all members under one roof. They are bound to answer the call of the Jarl to join in on his expeditions as needed. Within each house are slaves as well, this is the fate of the kidnapped or captured from Varank Incursions.

Some years ago, a Varank and Orc made a pact to head south and conquer. For the Orcs, this was a way to escape the fog. For the Varank, it was a way to recapture lands long-lost.

Mountain Dwarves

Living in underground cities, hanging from the ceiling of vast caverns. The Dwarves have thrived under the guidance of the Master Plan. This plan has kept them safe for centuries, but now the world is changing. The last was has already begun, and the Dwarves stand ready to rise up to claim victory.

Based on historic knowledge of Lindwurm, the Dwarven weapons are the most powerful in the land. Here lies their greatest unseen treasure. It includes weapons to pierce the armor they sold to the Feudoms. Not only that, but also gadgets to disable Black Legion weapons and automatons to enter the forest of Elves.

Then there is the fog. Through the Dwarves have long lived above it, the Sea of Fog as they call it has begun to expand and spread. Whatever comes, however the Last War evolves, the Dwarves are ready and hope they have what it takes to survive.

The Scions of Yaldabaoth

The Scions are all that remains of the rightful rulers of the Gae Assail Elven empire. Elves known as the dark minded, and are victims of the corrupt stories which follow them.

For a thousand years, they have hidden in the shadows as their only way to survive. Manipulating and influencing the world to try to retrieve their legacy and take back what was stolen.

They live apart, hidden, so that if one is discovered, the great plan of Yaldabaoth, the architect of flesh and father-mother of them all, will persist.

A group of scions is called a family, and at the heart of each is a Progenitor. A wizard of terrifying power. The Progenitors are elves that have embraced their natural affinity for magic. They use the power of necromancy to enlarge the families, or twist the flesh into monsters of devastating power.

The scions call the fog the “Architect’s Breath” and use the fog to move around the lands of Warcrow. No race is safe from the plans of the Architect. They have already begun their war and hope the other nations realize too late they are being invaded. No one can stop tie Scions of Yaldabaoth
