Running a shop is a means to get their own hobby sponsored. We hear that a lot! For us, it’s a passion project to get as many people together having as much fun as possibly can. We, the team behind CCGwinkel.nl and the Bloggotron team, can help with this!
What can we do to help out as bloggers/ writers
Depending on your needs, we can tailor specific wishes. Below is a list of things we can offer. Consider them as a means to target more audience. Let’s take a look at what we can offer you as a company.
Kickstarter/ Gamefound:
We know that there is a lot to do when organizing a campaign, and we can help with hype building. Making blogs like these can help with overall traffic to the campaign. Perhaps it can even convince people to back your campaign. “If you don’t shout, you won’t get heard”
Product reviews:
Going hands on is a perfect way to get more recognition. Even better when you share the reviews on your own socials to get more spread.
Do note that this also applies for products not in direct relation to our hobby, like lamps, apps, 3d products, tools and more!
Roads to:
If you have a product that has already got the funding or when the product didn’t go via the crowdfunding way at all, but you need a hype build-up of sorts. This includes a roadmap of smaller blogs that highlight the reasons why one would want to play the game or paint the minis. The end of the roadmap usually coincides with the release of the product delivery to either the backers or the store shelves.
Product Dives:
Half depth analysis on how certain factions or games work in game, focussing on newer players. If you have a game with specific mechanics, we can go through these mechanics in a mechanic per blog style. It goes the same with a game with multiple factions.
We do not charge for these blogs in the standard way. Please mail us for further inquiries
Conventions and Shows
We might be a form of unknown roaches, but that doesn’t mean we don’t love our conventions. With our experience as industry veterans and 10+ years 15+ conventions per year, we know what we do. We have a dedicated team with a focus on wargames, roleplaying games and board games, making our team a versatile asset for you when you can’t or don’t want to attend yourself.
Of course, if we are talking about demoing and such, please make sure we have the chance to read up on the rules and play the game in advance prior to attending. This way we know what we are doing and give the customers the best service they might want.
There are multiple options to arrange attendance:
- joining the show and HIRE us. You hire booth space, you send us the goods, we attend as if we are part of your team, sell your goods* and send back what is left.
- Attend the show in our SHOP IN SHOP concept. CCGwinkel is becoming quite the name in wargaming land in NL and shows are getting pretty hectic. You can become a SiS (Shop in Shop) location within our booth, with your own dedicated space, own marketing and own dedicated personnel and you will be shown on the map of the convention as a separate store. You just need to send everything to us and we will take care of the rest*. We will either send back or stock the product afterward, depending on product fit**.
We attend games and fantasy events and keep looking for more events that might fit our plans. - Joining YOUR show. Take Spiel for example. This is a big convention and you need a lot of team for that. If you can hire us for the job, you don’t need to pay flights to the location, but we prefer to sleep near the event if it’s a multi day event.
* We do not charge for service, but have specific “price rules” in place for both options.
** For us, if a new product is being offered, it’s always exciting to see how it does with customers. If it does well, there is a high chance that we will stock the product, so you don’t have to pay for shipping back and sell more product.
